Auction Rat supplements Auction Tamer and adds more usability. It copies information exported from AuctionTamer into its own database, and allows keeping track of bids, sells, buys, people. Auction Rat can be used without Auction Tamer, but does not provide full functionality. It is particularly useful if you are buying on auction sites for different people in the family, and for a business, since it allows categorizing the buys by owner and category. Provides automatic pastes of text for sticking into emails. Prints labels, envelopes and shipping lists. Improves communication to sellers and buyers and speeds up the order processing. Helps keep your feedback high, but ensuring timely communication in Auctions. Keeps track of multiple buys being shipped together. Tracks paid date, delivery date. Warns of overdue shipments. Handles currency exchange rates, shipping costs, duty and taxes. Calculates true cost of items purchased, by prorating shipping costs and duty on packages of multiple item and applies currency exchanges to get a final cost Keep track of feedback sent and given. Allows saving the item picture and description from eBay and attaching to the database. Search for previous purchases by seller, category, owner, date purchased, date delivered, date paid, description. Allows adding additional items that were not purchased at Auction, but are being shipped together. The current version is has been tested extensively with eBay - but not with other auction sites.
